PRS Guitars based in Maryland and founded in 1985 by Paul Reed Smith has built up a great reputation for their high-end, quality electric guitars and are widely known for their custom shop designs and configurations. In the 1990s they began to produce their more affordable line of instruments 'SE' and expanded out production to the Asian market. More recently, PRS have created another affordable range of guitars 'S2' produced in the US.
PRS

The highest range that PRS offer, these guitars often blur the lines between instrument and artwork. No expense is spared to make every aspect of a Private Stock guitar as good as it can be, using only the very best materials and components that PRS can get their hands on.

Wood Library guitars are dealer exclusives that take the Core models and tweak the specs to make them that bit more unique and exciting. From changing the wood, to the inlays, to custom colours, to different finishes, the Wood Library forms the perfect mid-ground between the Core and Private Stock ranges.

The PRS Core range really is what it says: the core guitars. It's the evolution of the guitars that started the company and brought PRS to the brand it is today. Featuring all in-house made and designed parts, these guitars are continuously pushing the boundaries of innovation in the journey for quality, feel, and sound.

Bridging the gap between the Core and S2 ranges is the Bolt-On range. These high value, USA made instruments are snappy and responsive and feature the same pickups as their Core range counterparts. It is also home to the outstanding John Mayer Silver Sky signature guitars!

The S2 range puts sound and feel at the forefront whilst stripping down on flashy aesthetic features. What you get with this range is a high value, USA-made workhorse of a guitar that you won't be afraid to put through the rigours of the road on tours.

Paul's innovation doesn't just stop at guitars. PRS produce a range of amplifiers - both modern and vintage voiced. Whether you're looking to pin down the perfect sounds from the past or to create entirely new ones, from high gain to crystal clean and everywhere in between, there's a PRS amp for you.
