The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar: the iconic guitar that started it all back in 1985. The Custom 24-08 keeps all the foundational specs of the instrument, while taking the Custom platform to new sonic territories.
The Mahogany body with the Violin Carved Maple top offers a rich warmth and depth that complements the beautiful aesthetic. With a Pattern Thin profile, 25" scale length and of course, 24 frets, the Mahogany neck feels really comfortable and familiar. The iconic PRS birds sit proudly atop the 10" Rosewood fingerboard for the definitive PRS experience.
In this latest version of the guitar, the pickups have been upgraded to Paul's own weapon of choice: the TCI pickup set. These musical pickups can cover a huge range of tones from single-coils to P90s. What really sets this model apart are the two mini-toggle EQ switches. They act as high-pass filters which produce a clear and musical sound.
With a PRS Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons, you get great tuning stability and intonation. Complete with PRS hardcase, this is one of our favourite PRS models, its a great example of the continued brilliance from PRS.
