Emerson Stratocaster 5-Way Prewired Kit w/250K Ohm Pots

The Emerson Custom Blender 5-Way Strat Prewired Kit is a powerful upgrade for Strat-style guitars, offering expanded tonal flexibility without sacrificing ease of use. Handwired in the USA with Emerson's Premier Pro potentiometers and a Paper in Oil capacitor, this kit delivers improved clarity, smoother control and a more musical taper across all three pots. The Blender wiring layout allows you to blend the neck pickup into the bridge position, or the bridge pickup into the neck position, unlocking tones not available on a standard Strat.

In positions 2 and 4, all three pickups can be active at once, giving you a wider palette of Strat textures. The Blender control is intuitive and fast to use on the fly, making it a favourite for players who want more versatility without complicated switching systems. The kit includes a prewired Switchcraft jack, a Volume Mod for retaining clarity when rolling back the volume, and a 0.047uf Emerson Paper in Oil capacitor for warm, articulate tone shaping.

Built with 3/8 inch split shaft Premier Pro pots and vintage-correct wiring, this assembly is designed to drop into most USA Stratocaster control cavities. It offers a refined, expressive and highly usable Strat wiring solution.

Installation Tips for Split Shaft Pots

Emerson Premier Pro split shaft pots are designed for USA-spec 24-spline push-on knobs. Some USA and import guitars use knobs that will not fit these shafts. If a knob feels too tight, gently crimp the top of the pot shaft together slightly before installation. This prevents damage from excessive downward pressure. Emerson recommends taking your time during installation and contacting them if you have any questions.
