The Emerson Custom 500K Reissue Les Paul Prewired Kit is a premium 50s-style wiring harness designed specifically for Gibson Custom Shop Reissue models including R6, R7, R8, R9 and R0. This version features angled short shaft pots, hand-shaped by Emerson founder Mitch Ingram to match the tight, inward-sloping control cavity routing found on Reissue instruments. This angled layout is essential for a clean, correct fit where straight-mounted pots will not sit properly.
Wired 50s style with Emerson Premier Pro 500k pots and Bumblebee Paper in Oil capacitors, this harness delivers classic Les Paul clarity, punch and dynamic response. The angled layout also allows this kit to fit flat-top Les Paul Standards, but it is purpose-built for Reissue models.
This kit shares the same angled look and construction style as the harness used in Slash's guitars, but Slash himself uses the 550k version.
