The Emerson Custom 550K Series Les Paul Junior Prewired Kit is a premium 50s-style wiring upgrade designed specifically for Gibson Les Paul Junior guitars. Handwired in the USA with Emerson's Premier Pro potentiometers, a Bumblebee Paper in Oil capacitor and vintage-correct materials, this harness delivers the punch, clarity and dynamic response that define great vintage Junior tone.
Wired 50s style, the circuit provides stronger, tighter and more transparent tone with far less treble loss when rolling back the volume. Both controls respond more smoothly, without hot spots, and interact with each other in a musical way reminiscent of classic tweed-era amps. Rolling back the volume cleans up an overdriven amp without losing presence in the mix, making this layout ideal for players who rely on touch and dynamics.
The kit uses 22 AWG external braid vintage push-back wire for an authentic look and feel, with heat-shrink insulation on the jack connections for long-term durability. Built for USA Gibson Les Paul Juniors, it offers a clean, reliable and great-sounding upgrade that enhances the natural voice of the guitar.

Installation Tips for Split Shaft Pots
Emerson Premier Pro split shaft pots are designed for USA-spec 24-spline push-on knobs. Some USA and import guitars use knobs that will not fit these shafts. If a knob feels too tight, gently crimp the top of the pot shaft together slightly before installation to avoid damaging the shaft. Emerson recommends taking your time during installation and contacting them if you have any questions.
