The Emerson Custom J-Bass Prewired Kit is a premium electronics upgrade for any Jazz Bass-style instrument. Handwired in the USA using high-quality components and vintage-correct materials, this kit delivers improved clarity, smoother control and a more musical taper across all three pots. Designed for players who want a more responsive and expressive instrument, it offers a noticeable improvement over stock bass wiring.

Each Premier Pro solid shaft potentiometer is hand-metered and matched for consistency, ensuring an even sweep and predictable response. The 0.047uf Emerson Paper in Oil capacitor provides warm, articulate tone shaping with a refined roll-off, while the 22 AWG vintage push-back wire gives the assembly an authentic look and sound. Heat-shrink insulation on the jack connections ensures long-term durability.

The kit is designed to drop into most USA-spec Jazz Bass pickguards. Import instruments may require reaming for US-spec pot shafts and knobs.
