The Limited Edition Brad Paisley "Lost Paisley" Telecaster is a stunning tribute to the short-lived Paisley Telecasters introduced by Fender in 1968. Designed in collaboration with Brad Paisley, Zac Childs, and Joe Glaser, this guitar faithfully recreates the original Blue Paisley Cling-Foil finish, inspired by the psychedelic movement of the late '60s.
At its core, the Lost Paisley Telecaster features a unique tonewood combination, consisting of an alder body with paulownia wings and a spruce top/back, delivering lightweight construction and resonant tonal clarity. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish with Fender's WLS undercoat ensures a beautiful relic'd aesthetic that will age naturally over time.
The guitar is equipped with Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Hand-Wound "Lost Paisley" pickups, providing rich vintage Telecaster twang with articulate mids and smooth highs. The Glaser "G" Bender system adds pedal-steel style bends, making this guitar ideal for expressive country licks and smooth melodic phrasing.
Additional features include a custom '60s Oval "C" maple neck with a round-laminated maple fingerboard, ensuring comfortable playability and effortless fretting. The 7.25" radius and 21 narrow tall (6105) frets maintain a classic feel, while the Modern Tele wiring and three-way switch allow for intuitive tone control.
Premium appointments include nickel/chrome hardware, a '67 Telecaster bridge with steel saddles, vintage-style tuners, and a bone nut with wing string tree, preserving the authentic Fender aesthetic. This collector's edition also comes with a deluxe hardshell case, period-correct Fender strap, and a certificate of authenticity.
