This Fender Custom Shop 60 Tele Left-Handed Journeyman in Sonic Blue captures the soulful, expressive character of an early 60s Telecaster, complete with ash body resonance, aged lacquer and that unmistakable Fender charm. The kind of Tele that invites touch sensitive phrasing, bluesy articulation and dynamic control.
The two piece Alder body is finished in nitro lacquer and treated to a Journeyman level of ageing, giving it the vibe of a guitar taken from 1960 and been extremely well looked after, it features some very miner dings but mostly just lacquer cracking, giving it real authenticity. The Rift Sawn Maple neck is shaped to a 60 Style Oval C profile, offering a comfortable, vintage inspired feel with a touch more substance. The AAA slab rosewood fingerboard, sorted for dark colour, provides a smooth playing surface with a 9.5 inch radius and 6105 narrow tall frets for modern precision and effortless bending.
The Handwound 63 Tele pickups brings punch, bite and midrange authority. Together they offer a wide, expressive tonal range that suits everything from clean, dynamic touch playing to driven blues phrasing. Traditional Tele wiring and a 3-way switch keep everything intuitive and authentic.
Finished in Journeyman Sonic Blue with tasteful lacquer checking and classic early 60s character, this left-handed Tele is a soulful, expressive Custom Shop build with serious musical personality.
