Here at Peach Guitars, we're obsessed with vintage Fender guitars from the 1950s and 1960s. Those guitars have a real magic to them and were responsible for some of the most iconic and influential music ever recorded. The Fender Custom Shop team work tirelessly to recreate the magic of these original instruments for today’s players, and they really do an incredible job!
This 1969 Stratocaster is one seriously cool instrument, it’s the perfect guitar for someone who loves hot-rodded tones from the 1980s! It features a period correct Alder body, which is super resonant and punchy. The aged vintage white nitrocellulose finish has been authentically aged by the Custom Shop team, and they really have done a great job. The level of ageing and attention to detail on this finish really is master built level and quality, you really don’t see finishes like this every day.
The rift sawn maple neck looks great and is super comfortable to play. It features Fender’s 60s style oval “C” neck shape, which is one of our most popular neck shapes. It measures .790” at the 1st fret, and .930” at the 12th fret. The maple fingerboard has also been aged really well, it has a real Yngwie Malmsteen vibe to it. It features 22 jumbo frets, a 12” radius, 1.6875” nut width, and black dot inlays.
It loaded with an HSS pickup loadout, which is versatile and fun to play through. It’s got a Seymour Duncan pearly gates humbucker in the bridge, and a pair of hand wound fat 60s single coils in both neck and middle positions. You also have a built in S-1 switch on the volume control which allows you to split the bridge humbucker.
Another important feature of this guitar is the factory fitted Floyd Rose bridge, which is recessed allowing you to both pull up and push down on the bridge. It also has a set of high quality Schaller tuners, which give you great stability and tuning consistency.
