Here at Peach Guitars, we're obsessed with vintage Fender guitars from the 1950s and 1960s. Those guitars have a real magic to them and were responsible for some of the most iconic and influential music ever recorded. The Fender Custom Shop team work tirelessly to recreate the magic of these original instruments for today’s players, and they really do an incredible job!
This 1969 Stratocaster is one seriously cool instrument, it’s the perfect guitar for someone who loves hot-rodded tones from the 1980s! It features a period correct Alder body, which is super resonant and punchy. The Super Heavy nitrocellulose finish has been authentically aged by the Custom Shop team, and they really have done a fantastic. This level of ageing divides the guitar community, but we love it! It's made to replicate a guitar that has truly been to war on stage and just oozes cool.
The rift sawn maple neck looks great and is topped with a AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard - super comfortable to play. It features Fender’s 60s Style Oval “C” neck profile, which is one of our most popular neck shapes. It measures .790” at the 1st fret, and .930” at the 12th fret. It features 22 jumbo frets, a 12” radius, 1.6875” nut width, and Mother of Pearl inlays. This allows you to really get into that fast playing, low-action set-up for all your shredding needs.
It loaded with an HSS pickup configuration, which is versatile and fun to play through. A Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge, and a pair of Hand Wound Fat 60s single coils in both neck and middle positions. You also have a built in S-1 switch on the volume control which allows you to split the bridge humbucker.
Another important feature of this guitar is the factory fitted Floyd Rose bridge which is recessed, allowing you to both pull up and push down on the bridge. It also has a set of high quality Schaller tuners, which give you great stability and tuning consistency.
A truly awesome guitar from the master craftspeople at the Custom Shop, this is a vintage-inspired, high-performance rock machine!
