Fender Custom Shop '61 Strat - Relic Aged Vintage White

The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '61 Stratocaster Relic in Aged Vintage White is a fitting addition to this legendary line.

A lightweight Alder body is finished in a classic Aged Vintage White - it has a yellowed hue which authentically simulates the vibe of a white Strat that has had many decades of play wear and natural ageing. This is paired superbly with a relic'd tortoiseshell pickguard.

The rift sawn Maple nitro lacquer neck feels smooth and is topped with a AAA-grade sort for dark Rosewood fingerboard. This '61 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '59 Esquire C neck shape, a 9.5" radius, 21 6100 jumbo frets and a 1.650" nut width. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced. With the inclusion of relic'd hardware you can expect great stability and intonation whilst gaining that aged vintage look.

Loaded with a trio of hand wound Fat 60s pickups, these pickups deliver a rich and dynamic tonal range, offering a strong bass response, clear and articulate highs, and a vintage-correct voice that responds sensitively to playing dynamics. This makes the guitar equally capable of handling subtle, expressive passages as well as more powerful, driven tones.

Installed with a Tone Saver Treble Bleed circuit, this enables you to retain sweet clarity in  the top end when you roll down the guitar's volume, meaning your soaring lead lines will easily cut through the mix without sounding too muddy.
