Whilst visiting the 2026 NAMM show in Anaheim, John and the team attended the Fender Custom Shops annual Custom Shop event, where all attendees can bid on exclusive instruments built specifically for the NAMM show. These instruments always feature a unique spec that you dont see every day.
Its not every day you see a guitar like this, so when John and the team laid eye on it at this years NAMM Custom Shop event, they knew it had to come back to Peach Guitars. This Custom Deluxe Stratocaster features a traditional sort for lightweight Alder body, which is typical of most 60s style/modern Stratocasters. The finish is totally unique and really shows off what makes the Custom Shop special. It features an Aged Seafoam Green Sparkle over 3-Tone Sunburst nitrocellulose finish, which just looks incredible. It has the appearance of an old 60s 3-Tone Sunburst Stratocaster than was re-finished in the 80s and went on to experience years of use on the road. The finish itself is super thin, so it will continue to age and wear over time.
The neck is crafted from Quartersawn Maple and is really comfortable to play. It features a 65 Strat C neck shape, which measures .820 at the 1st fret, and .974 at the 12th fret. The sort for dark Rosewood fingerboard has a really deep, rich colour that just looks super old and vintage. Its got 22 Narrow Tall frets, a 9.5 radius, 1.6875 nut width, and traditional dot inlays. To match the hot-rodded vibe, its also loaded with a set of Schaller tuners.
A hot-rodded Stratocaster this cool really does need a pickup set up to the challenge. Its loaded with a pair of Handwound 69 Strat single coils, alongside a Seymour Duncan SH4B Jeff Beck humbucker. With a powerful HSS loadout, you have access to an extremely wide range of usable and inspiring tones. The onboard S1 switch allows you to split the bridge humbucker, giving you even more tones.
Across the board you have Fender Closet Classic hardware ageing, which gives a slight patina and aged look, but keeps everything functioning perfectly. Youve got a 2-point custom tremolo system, alongside a set of Schaller tuners, all of which deliver great stability and usability.
If youre looking a Fender Custom Shop with a unique story and build specification, then you should 100% check this guitar out. We dont think this will hang around long, dont miss out!
