Here at Peach Guitars, we're obsessed with vintage Fender guitars from the 1950s and 1960s. Those guitars have a real magic to them and were responsible for some of the most iconic and influential music ever recorded. The Fender Custom Shop team work tirelessly to recreate the magic of these original instruments for today’s players, and they really do an incredible job!
This ’60 spec Telecaster is one of the most unique and eye-catching Fender Custom Shop instruments we’ve seen in a while. It looks exactly like a vintage 60s era Telecaster that has been refinished at some point in its life. The colour over colour finish looks great and gives this guitar a totally unique look and vibe.
It features a period correct Alder body, which is lightweight and super resonant. Alder has been used on Fender instruments since the late 1950s and has always been a popular choice. The finish is one of the most unique parts of this guitar. It features an aztec gold over 3-colour sunburst nitrocellulose finish which has been heavily aged by the Custom Shop team. Colour over colour finishes always look awesome and are super popular. The ageing looks really authentic, they’ve done a great job at revealing the sunburst finish beneath without it looking fake or artificial.
The rift sawn maple neck looks great and is super comfortable to play. It features Fender’s 59 Esquire C neck shape, which is one of our most popular neck shapes. It measures .790” at the 1st fret, and .970” at the 12th fret. The sort of dark rosewood looks really authentic and has 21 narrow tall frets, a 9.50” radius, 1.650” nut width, and white dot inlays.
Killer Telecaster tones come courtesy of a pair of hand wound Fender pickups. It features a hand wound twisted tele in the neck, and a hand wound ’51 nocaster in the bridge position.
This is one seriously cool Telecaster, don’t miss out!
