The REVV Dynamis D40 is a flagship amplifier designed to deliver authentic vintage valve tones with practical modern functionality. It combines the tonal characteristics of classic 6L6 and EL34-powered amplifiers, offering both warm, articulate cleans and smooth, controlled overdrive. The two independent channels - Clean and Overdrive - are engineered with a rich midrange and an open, responsive feel, allowing players to achieve a consistent tonal quality across the full range of the controls. Features such as the Bright and Boost switches provide additional tonal shaping, enhancing clarity, presence, and harmonic detail without compromising balance. This ensures the amplifier remains versatile and adaptable across different playing styles and genres.
The D40 is equipped with a range of performance-focused features that improve usability without complicating operation. Two master volumes allow for seamless switching between different output levels, which is ideal for live performance and dynamic control. A transparent buffered effects loop maintains signal integrity when using external pedals, while both channels are optimised to work effectively with a wide variety of pedal setups. The onboard reverb includes both Level and Decay controls, enabling precise adjustment of ambience to suit different environments. The amplifier's simplified control layout ensures quick and intuitive operation, while still offering enough flexibility to fine-tune tone as needed.
A key advantage of the D40 is its integrated Two notes Torpedo reactive load and DynIR technology, which allows for direct recording and performance without the need for a speaker cabinet. This provides consistent, studio-quality tones via XLR output, making it suitable for live, studio, and home use. Additional connectivity features such as MIDI support, stereo outputs, and Bluetooth integration expand its functionality for modern setups. With a 40W/10W power scaling option, a compact and lightweight design, and durable Canadian manufacturing standards, the D40 is built for reliability and portability.
