Mayones Regius 6 - TEW Birdseye Maple - Trans Graphite Gloss

The Regius body shape is extremely comfortable. It’s ergonomically designed, so your wrist feels comfortable and sits naturally above the pickups. This guitar features a body crafted from T.E.W Swamp Ash and 4A Curly Poplar. Mayones’ T.E.W (Tonally Enhanced Wood) process involves roasting the wood, which helps to stabilise the wood and remove any excess moisture. This process also helps to increase the resonance and sustain of the guitar. The 4A Curly Poplar top looks awesome, it’s got some really unique figuring throughout and looks great. The top features a beautiful Trans Graphite gloss finish, and the back features an Antique Black Matte stain.

The 11-ply neck is crafted from T.E.W Maple, Wenge, and Maple. It features a thru-body neck design, meaning the neck extends directly through the body and is joined to the Swamp Ash body and Curly Poplar top. This style of construction is much more complex than traditional bolt-on or set-neck construction, but it really helps increase sustain and resonance. The T.E.W 4A Birdseye Maple fingerboard is dark in colour and features stainless steel frets, a 25.4” scale length, and a 16” radius.

This pickup choice really brings this guitar to life, with a duo of Mayones' very own Velvetrone pickups you get a great full frequency range and a really dynamic response. The Ironside bridge pickup is like a sledgehammer and produces a high output, focused tone. The Solium neck humbucker is balanced in response and is harmonically rich, it's perfect for soulful leads and silky cleans! This set features brushed nickel covers with gold screws, they look and sound great!

Other key features include a Schaller Hannes 6 bridge, Hipshot GripLock tuners, 3ply Black ABS + Black Pearloid binding on the body, neck, and headstock, and a high quality Mayones hardshell case (shown in pictures).
