The JHS AT+ is the signature overdrive of Andy Timmons, designed to deliver his preferred gain structure, touch sensitivity, and tonal flexibility in a compact dual-function pedal. It builds on the original AT design with the addition of an independent boost circuit, allowing for seamless transitions between rhythm and lead tones.
The main overdrive section features Volume, Drive, EQ, and Air controls. The EQ shapes the overall tone, while the Air knob fine-tunes the high-end response to suit different amps and guitars. The Drive control offers a wide range of gain, from edge-of-breakup textures to saturated lead tones with amp-like dynamics.
The Boost section is footswitchable and operates independently, placed after the overdrive in the signal path. It adds volume and presence without altering the core tone, making it ideal for solos or pushing an amp harder.
