The JHS Violet is a signature distortion pedal created with Lari Basilio, offering a fresh take on drive tones with a unique EQ layout and exceptional versatility. Designed to act like a second channel for your clean amp, it delivers everything from smooth overdrive to full-on modern distortion - all while preserving clarity and dynamic response.

At the heart of the Violet is a semi-parametric midrange section, with Mid Freq and Middle controls placed before the distortion circuit. This lets you shape the tone going into the gain stage, dramatically affecting the character and feel. Post-distortion Bass and Treble controls round out the 3-band EQ, giving you precise tonal control.

The Drive and Volume knobs offer a wide gain range and output flexibility, while the buffered bypass and silent soft-touch switching make it a seamless addition to any pedalboard. Whether you're stacking it with other drives or using it as your main dirt box, the Violet delivers expressive, amp-like tone with a modern edge.
