Fresh from our latest batch of custom spec Gibsons is this cool and unique twist on a modern collection Les Paul Custom. The Pelham Blue finish alone already gives this Les Paul Custom a colourful face lift with tonnes of character but under the hood is a chambered Mahogany body and a Maple top with F-Holes that give it an open sound akin to what you'd expect from an ES semi-hollow. This guitar is all about unique looks and unique sounds.
The rest of the specs are pretty inline with other modern collection Les Paul Customs so besides weight, looks, and tone, it should feel very similar. The 24.75" scale length Mahogany neck features a 12" radius Ebony fingerboard with 22 Jescar FW45100 frets for a silky smooth feel underhand. The LPC Modern Medium C neck profile measures .820" at the 1st fret and .965" at the 12th. With Mother-of-Pearl Block inlays and black and white multi-ply top and back and white neck binding, this guitar still holds all the class of a Les Paul Custom.
Tuning and intonation are in safe hands with the Grover tuners and Tune-O-Matic bridge whilst the 490R and 498T humbuckers offer the perfect match for players wanting a versatile tonal palette. The 490R brings 4-conducter wiring and wax potting with the characteristics and tone of an original PAF pickup. The 498T utilises an Alnico 5 magnet and a hotter output that make it fantastic for hard rock and pushing the frontend of your amp.
