From our latest batch of custom spec Gibsons is this dazzling 1964 ES-345 that truly makes the most of its Made2Measure specs. Most obvious of these is the Gold Mist Poly finish which, despite the name, is actually quite a subtle look for this hollowbody but still holds an air of elegance to it. Under the hood, the ES-345's body is made from Maple ply and a Mahogany neck - a tonal foundation that is a staple amongst the ES models.
The Rosewood fingerboard features everything you'd expect: a 24.75" scale length, a 12" radius, a 1.6875" nut width, 22 Jescar FW45100 frets, and aged celluloid split parallelogram inlays. It also features a authentic 1964 Medium C neck profile that is found on 1964 ES-335s and measures .874" at the 1st fret and .957" at the 12th. It's familiarly comfortable to use and can easily handle any complex chords or blues leads that you can throw at it.
The Kluson tuners and ABR-1 bridge with brass saddles keep the intonation and tuning in check with excellent string vibration transfer whilst the Maestro Vibrola allows players to add extra expression and nuance at the tip of their fingers.
Equipped with a set of Gibson Custombucker pickups, this guitar features some of the most authentic PAF tones on the market and the inclusion of the Varitone control offers a range of preset tonal filters, expanding the guitar's versatility far beyond standard tone controls.
