This guitar is an amazing looker that packs a punch, featuring a stunning, hand-picked ONE-PIECE 5A Quilt Maple top that truly pops with incredible depth and movement, all finished in a captivating Chablis Pink. This guitar's exceptional one-piece 5A Quilt Maple top is incredibly rare, representing only the second such example we've seen since 2006, truly setting it apart from virtually any other Les Paul Custom.
This Custom Shop beauty takes the classic Les Paul Custom and gives it a breathtaking visual twist. The vibrant Chablis Pink top is perfectly complemented by the natural Mahogany finish on the back and sides, offering a beautiful, organic contrast that really makes the quilt top stand out. Adding to its premium feel, the body top features exquisite Abalone binding, a high-end detail you don't often see, making this Les Paul Custom feel truly unique.
Built with a solid Mahogany neck featuring a long neck tenon, this guitar delivers that legendary Les Paul sustain and a lively, resonant feel. The Ebony fingerboard is adorned with classic Pearl Custom Block inlays, providing a smooth playing surface and an iconic look. With its familiar 24.75" scale length, a comfortable 1.687" nut width, and Reissue fretwire, this guitar plays like a dream, letting your fingers play across the fretboard with ease.
The guitar is fitted with durable gold aged hardware, including reliable Grover Kidney machine heads, a classic Tune-O-Matic (TOM) bridge, and a Stop Bar tailpiece, ensuring rock-solid tuning stability and precise intonation. Sonically, this Les Paul Custom is a true workhorse, loaded with Gibson's revered 490R (neck) and 498T (bridge) humbucking pickups. These are go-to pickups for a reason, delivering a versatile range of classic Gibson tones, from warm, articulate cleans to thick, powerful rock leads.
Finished with the acclaimed VOS (Vintage Original Spec) treatment, this guitar has the authentic look and feel of a well-cared-for vintage instrument, with a subtle, aged sheen that just adds to its character.
