An iconic guitar with an iconic story, the Gibson Les Paul is the legacy of legendary guitarist and guitar innovator Les Paul. What started as a personal mission back in the late '40s has developed in to arguably the most revered electric guitar model of all time.
This Gibson '68 Les Paul Custom is the ultimate way to experience what makes the Les Paul so special. With a solid 1-piece Mahogany body and a hand-picked figured Maple B Top, this custom model is finished in a Fire Mist with dazzling nickel hardware. '68 LP Customs normally have a plain top with a solid finish so this is really something special with tonnes of character.
The Mahogany neck boasts a 24.75" scale length, an Ebony fingerboard with Mother of Pearl block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets, and a '68 Standard profile; it feels rock-solid, just as a Les Paul should. With the period correct long neck tenon with hide glue fit, this guitar delivers incredible sustain and resonance.
The Les Paul Custom is loaded with a duo of 68 custom humbucker pickups. These humbuckers deliver that authentic tone that only a Les Paul can produce.
An ABR-1 bridge with stopbar and waffleback tuners keep the tuning and intonation in check. A real powerhouse, this Gibson Les Paul Custom comes complete with Gibson hardcase for great protection at home and on the road.
