The Gibson '68 Les Paul Custom is the ultimate way to experience what makes the Les Paul so special. With a Mahogany body and a carved Maple Top, this historic reissue Made 2 Measure Custom is finished in stunning Heavy Alpine White with Gold hardware. The Heavy Antique White finish authentically replicates the Randy Rhoads vibe perfectly - it's born ready to shred! A true recreation of how this iconic guitar would have been built in 1968, the VOS finish authentically simulates the look of a guitar that is many decades old, but has never been played - a proper vintage-inspired time capsule.
The Mahogany neck boasts a 24.75" scale length, an Ebony fingerboard with Mother of Pearl block inlays; it feels perfectly balanced and poised, just as a Les Paul should.
The Les Paul Custom is loaded with Alnico 3 CustomBucker aged pickups. These humbuckers deliver that tone that only a Les Paul can produce. Authentic PAF style, capable of anything from smooth, warm jazz, clean blues licks all the way to killer hard rock riffs.
