Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom 7A Quilt | Iguanaburst Gloss (Mark On Headstock)

Over the years, we've seen literally thousands of incredible Gibson Custom Les Pauls pass through the Peach Guitars saloon, but every so often, there's one standout guitar that makes all the staff stop and take notice. This Les Paul Custom is one of those special guitars! It features a truly incredible spec and is unlike anything we've had at Peach Guitars for a long time. This Les Paul Custom features a mahogany body paired with a truly incredible 7A quilted maple top that John selected during a recent visit to Nashville. Over the years, John has spent countless hours at the Custom Shop factory sorting through thousands of pieces of figured maple. When this top was put in front of him, he instantly knew it had to be used for one of our unique "Made 2 Measure" builds. Finding a piece of quilted maple with prominent figuring of this quality really is like finding a needle in a haystack. They really don't come around very often. The Custom Shop have given this guitar a vibrant "Iguana Burst stain", which really brings the top to life and gives it an incredible three-dimensional look. The dark back and neck contrast beautifully against the vibrant top stain.

The Mahogany neck is extremely comfortable and feels great in your hands. It features a modern medium C neck shape, which is a great choice for all types of players. It's not too thick, but it's not paper thin either, making it a really comfortable shape to play. The ebony fingerboard is super dark in colour, matching the dark painted neck perfectly. It features Jescar FW45100 fret wire, white neck binding, a standard 24.75" scale length, a traditional radius, and a set of mother-of-pearl block inlays.

With a set of Custombucker pickups, this Les Paul Custom easily delivers that iconic Les Paul tone we all know and love. The Custombucker is a really interesting pickup set. They're designed to replicate the feel and response of the legendary P.A.F. pickup, and they certainly do a great job. They're dynamic, really responsive, and sound great both clean and distorted. This guitar is finished off with Grover kidney bean tuners and a traditional Tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece. It also features nickel hardware across the whole guitar.
