Whilst visiting the 2026 NAMM show in Anaheim, John and the team attended the Fender Custom Shop’s annual Custom Shop event, where all attendees can bid on exclusive instruments built specifically for the NAMM show. These instruments always feature a unique spec that you don’t see every day.
This 1965 Stratocaster was a real standout piece at this year’s NAMM Custom Shop event. When the team spotted it, they just knew it had to come back to Peach Guitars. It features a sort for lightweight Alder body finished with an Aged Olympic White nitrocellulose lacquer. This finish is super thin and has been authentically aged by the Custom Shop team. It really does look like a genuinely old vintage Stratocaster.
The neck is crafted from Quartersawn Maple and is really comfortable, it feels great and comfortably fills your hands. It features a period correct 65 Strat C neck shape, which measures .820” at the 1st fret, and .974” at the 12th fret. The sort for dark Rosewood fingerboard looks great. It features 21 Narrow Tall frets, Mother-Of-Pearl dot inlays, a 9.50” radius, and a 1.650” nut width.
It’s loaded with a set of really versatile and high quality pickups. It’s got a set of handwound Fender 65 Strat pickups, which are really clear, articulate, and chimey sounding!
If you’re looking a Fender Custom Shop with a unique story and build specification, then you should 100% check this guitar out. We don’t think this will hang around long, don’t miss out!
