The Fender Custom Shop Dual-Mag II Stratocaster Pickups are engineered to deliver crystal-clear highs, rich lows, and impeccable tonal balance, making them perfect for players who demand precision and versatility. Whether you're chasing shimmering cleans or expressive overdrive, these pickups provide smooth articulation and dynamic response.
Built with a mix of alnico magnets, the Dual-Mag II pickups combine unbevelled alnico 5 magnets from the low E through G for focused attack and articulation, with hand-bevelled alnico 2 magnets for the B and high E to ensure sweet highs and balanced midrange. The custom staggered "low G" magnet allows for a seamless transition from wound to plain strings, creating exceptional string-to-string clarity.
Each pickup is wrapped with copper shielding tape, reducing unwanted noise and interference, while the reverse-wound, reverse-polarity (RWRP) middle pickup eliminates hum in positions 2 and 4. The Formvar-coated magnet wire enhances overall brightness, while the cloth wire and fibre bobbin construction maintains authentic Fender craftsmanship. Installation hardware is included for easy setup.
