Dennis Galuszka is known across the globe as one of Fenders highly revered Masterbuilders, a select group of the worlds most esteemed luthiers. With this Godly status, any guitar with his name attached generates a huge amount of interest, and rightly so.
An Ash body is finished in a majestic White Blonde, as this is a transparent colour you can really appreciate the beauty of the wood grain. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The NOS finish gives the appearance of a New Old Stock guitar, one that has been perfectly preserved since leaving the factory and doesn't feature any kind of ageing or relic work. With gold hardware across the board this beauty really does stand out.
The 3A Flame Maple neck has a smooth, authentic, vintage feel and is paired up with a Quatersawn Maple Fingerboard. It has a 9.50" radius, 1963 style oval C shape, 21 6150 frets,and a 25.5"scale length, it's a real joy to play.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop Bigsby Tele needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a Hand-Wound Josefina Broadcaster bridge pickup and a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1N Humbucker in the neck. Dennis has always been a fan of a Tele neck humbucker as he believes it really opens the guitar up to a whole new world of tonal opportunities. This set is incredibly versatile and dynamic. The crowning feature of this piece is the awesome Bigsby B5 bridge and tailpiece, allowing for incredible vibrato and tuning stability, this is helped further thanks to the high quality Schaller 'F" tuning machines.
