The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things, and with the Custom Shop '51 Nocaster they really push the boundaries of Leo Fenders vision. It's arguably Fender's most iconic design and this Aged Magenta Sparkle finish takes this guitars to another level! The Sparkle absolutely kills under the lights.
The sort for lightweight Ash body is finished with Deluxe Closet Classic nitro lacquer. This finely aged finish treatment imparts the look of a guitar owned with pride, well cared for and religiously polished over many years. Moderate finish checking and hardware oxidisation, along with mild parts discolouration, combine into the distinct look and feel of an instrument that has evolved into something complex and refined, like a fine wine.
The Rift Sawn Maple neck has a smooth, vintage feel. With a 7.25-9.50" radius and medium jumbo frets, the '51 Nocaster features a 60's Style Oval C profile; it feels comfortable and robust, just like a vintage Fender should.
With the Broadcaster/Nocaster/Telecaster design considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop '51 Telecaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. Loaded with a pair of hand wound 50-51 Nocaster pickups you certainly get that famous Tele' tone.
Purple guitars seem to be done to death at the moment but you will not find a cooler purple guitar anywhere else in England!
