Reimagined Bucket Brigade Delay - Innovative & Unique Sonic Signature

The Diamond Memory Lane is a reimagined bucket brigade delay that captures the ethereal essence of the original big-box Memory Lane using Diamond's digital Bucket Brigade Delay technology. With three distinct delay lines, tap tempo with subdivisions, and advanced operation modes, this pedal offers both modern and vintage style sounds, improved signal-to-noise ratio and frequency response, and top-mounted jacks for easy use. Description

Introducing the Diamond Memory Lane, the reimagined bucket brigade delay that's taking the guitar world by storm! Diamond's innovative digital Bucket Brigade Delay technology has immaculately captured the ethereal essence of the original big-box Memory Lane, blending analog companding, anti-aliasing|reconstruction filters with a bucket brigade style delay line. The result? All the goodness of the original Memory Lane, but in a smaller footprint and with over double the delay time, extended frequency response, higher SNR, and at a fraction of the current draw.

With three distinct delay lines, the Memory Lane offers both modern and vintage style sounds. The modern delay mode features static sampling rate, muted tempo change, and delay times ranging from 50 to 1200 ms, while the warm delay mode offers variable sampling rate, darker repeats, and delay times ranging from 150 to 1200 ms. The vintage delay mode captures the magic of analog BBD delay pedals with variable sampling rate, snappier repeats, and delay times ranging from 65 to 550 ms with automatically halved tap tempo divisions.

But that's not all! The Memory Lane also features tap tempo with sub-divisions via a dedicated footswitch, an auto-div feature that automatically doubles/halves tapped-in delay tempo if outside of the current mode's time range, and a doubler feature that allows for instant doubling of the delay tempo. Advanced operation modes include Geezer Mode, which mimics classic Memory Lane operation without secondary footswitch functions, Trails Mode, which allows the delay signal to trail off according to feedback knob setting when the effect is bypassed, and Momentary/Latching Mode, which offers momentary/latching switching for both Delay Modulation and Doubler Feature.

And let's not forget the top-mounted jacks and soft-touch relay switching for maximum convenience and ease of use. Hand-made in Montreal, Canada, the Memory Lane is powered by a regular 9V DC PSU (centre -, 2.1 mm, ~45 mA current draw). All of our research and development has culminated into a unique sonic signature that can only be described as distinctly Memory Lane. So what are you waiting for? Experience the innovative, high-quality sound of the Diamond Memory Lane today!
