Inspired by legendary units like the Echoplex and Space Echo, it uses a digital circuit to emulate the warm, decaying repeats and subtle imperfections that made tape delay a staple of countless recordings.
The Mix knob blends your dry and delayed signals, while Tape Speed adjusts the delay time from 15ms to 950ms, simulating the motor speed of vintage tape machines. The Repeats control lets you dial in anything from a single slapback to cascading echoes. Flip the Flutter switch to engage subtle modulation and warble, mimicking the mechanical wear of ageing tape systems.
With its simple 3-knob layout, Flutter toggle, and buffered bypass, the 3 Series Tape Delay is ideal for players who want classic delay textures without the complexity or cost of vintage gear.
