The JHS 3 Series Oil Can Delay recreates the unique sound of vintage electrostatic delay units from the 1960s, known for their dark, warbly echoes and subtle pitch modulation. Inspired by the original oil can technology used by brands like Fender and Morley, this pedal delivers haunting repeats with a distinct character not found in tape or digital delays.

Controls include Mix, Speed, and Feedback, allowing you to dial in everything from short slapback to longer, modulated echoes. The Mod toggle switch selects between two intensities of pitch modulation, mimicking the mechanical instability of the original oil can systems. Shorter delay times produce faster modulation, while longer times slow the warble, just like the vintage units.

Whether you're chasing lo-fi ambience, retro slapback, or experimental textures, the Oil Can Delay offers a unique sonic palette that stands apart from conventional delay pedals.
