Named after the scenic highway that cruises past their Texas Hill shop, the 290 is the ultimate rock n roll guitar.
With a Honduran Mahogany solid body single cutaway design finished in a Crimson finish, this is a serious guitar with a seriously cool look. Equipped with Kluson ABR-1 bridge, Kluson Stop tailpiece, and Gotoh tuners, this guitar has great tuning stability, intonaion, and resonance.
The Honduran Mahogany "C" shape neck features a Rosewood fingerboard, with a 24.7/8" scale length and a 12" radius, its comfortable and precise. With a super rockin' pair of Lollar P-90s, the 290 is a tonal powerhouse, delivering a wide variation of rich and detailed tones, the 290 is a real players guitar.
As always, handcrafted in Austin, Texas and it's the real deal. Complete with a hardcase, it's ready to hit the road!
