Boasting a beloved tone wood pairing and new features designed to further improve both sound and feel, the Next Generation 714ce promises an exceptional musical experience for discerning players.

This Grand Auditorium acoustic features solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, alongside a Western Cedar top. Together, they give you a warm, harmonically rich tone that’s enjoyable to play and super easy to record with. Inside, Taylor's scalloped V-Class bracing enhances low-end presence and overall resonance, coaxing out even more of the natural harmonics that players love about this tone wood pairing.

The Long-Tenon Action Control neck improves neck-to-body vibration transfer for a warmer and deeper voicing whilst the unique action control allows for quick and precise adjustments to string-height for on-the-go humidity or playing style changes. These features have been in development for years and are one of the biggest changes that Taylor have made in the past 20 years.

The final enhancement comes in the form of the all-new Claria System Acoustic Electronics. Building on Taylor's ES electronics, the Claria has taken on the extensive feedback from touring artists and sound engineers to consistently deliver stage-ready tones - no matter the venue. The proprietary preamp shapes the undersaddle pickup to be less harsh, with soundhole controls to further tweak volume, tone, and the Mid-Contour.
