The colour and finish have been reverse-engineered to match exactly how a brand-new StingRay would have looked fresh off the production line in 1979, offering a true time-capsule aesthetic with modern precision.
The neck features a dark-tinted maple construction paired with a rosewood fingerboard, delivering a smooth, comfortable feel and a rich, warm tone. Its shaped with a unique asymmetrical carve that faithfully mirrors the profile of Pino Palladinos original bass, offering a truly authentic playing experience. The classic 3-bolt design supports a vintage-spec profile measuring 0.820 inches at the first fret and 0.970 inches at the twelfth, with a 7.5-inch radius, 34-inch scale length, dot inlays, and 21 nickel frets.

Built with shorter pole pieces, it delivers a smooth, focused response that captures the vintage character of that era. This pickup works in perfect harmony with a specially voiced preamp, tuned to recreate the warmth, depth, and nuance of the aged electronics in Pino Palladinos original bass.
