The Ernie Ball Music Man Tim Commerford signature collection builds on this relationship and delivers an exciting production model designed to Tims exact specifications. From its custom features to its unparalleled tonal versatility, every detail is a testament to Commerford's iconic sound and performance ethos.
This Stingray begins with a solid Ash body, which helps to give this bass guitar brilliant clarity and resonance. This tonewood is long associated with Bass guitar construction, giving the tone a notable increase in top end punch. Ash is also known for its lightweight nature, so you play this bass standing up without any worries or concerns.
Thanks to Music Mans roasting process, this Roasted Maple neck has incredible stability, you wont have to worry about constant adjustments and tweaks due to humidity changes. The dark caramel colour of the neck also looks awesome and adds to the guitars premium look and feel. The C shape neck profile feels great in your hand and is comfortable in every position. The dark Ebony fingerboard features an 11 radius, white dot inlays, 22 high-profile stainless steel frets, a 34 scale length, and a 1.6875 nut width.
One of the most important features of this bass guitar is its electronics. This passive bass version features a Music Man Neodymium humbucker, which delivers powerful tones that just sound awesome. It features a push pull volume knob which engages a passive volume boost, a 3 way rotary pickup switch, and a really useful tone control
This bass also features a height adjustable finger ramp, string-through body with red mutes, Music Man tuners, custom neck plate, matching headstock and a secure case
