The Twang 'O' Tone set is a modern player's take on vintage twang, providing faithful '50s tone with enhanced playability and balance.
- Neck Pickup (7.1k DCR, 2.0H): Wound with a nickel silver cover, this unit features an innovative mix of extended Alnico magnets through the lower flatwork. The shorter magnets under the E and A strings are key to its woody midrange and smooth, open highs, perfect for soulful leads and articulate rhythm work. It comes with a newer, cleaner look.
- Bridge Pickup (6.8k DCR, 3.2H): Mark's take on the classic Blackguard bridge, this pickup features a traditional flat pole design and a custom mix of Alnico magnets. The low E and A strings use Alnico 5 to keep the lows tight and spanky, while the overall voicing ensures that cutting Tele bite without harshness. It is finished with an aged, road-worn look.
