At their core, the '55-'56 Telecaster pickups feature hand-bevelled, staggered alnico 5 magnets in the bridge, ensuring focused attack and enhanced dynamics, while the alnico 3 magnets in the neck provide sweet midrange and tight bass response. The staggered pole pieces create greater string-to-string articulation and a balanced output, resulting in rich harmonic detail and crisp note definition.
Wound using enamel-coated magnet wire, these pickups produce warm vintage-style tones, while the wax potting minimises unwanted feedback. The cloth wire and fibre bobbin construction maintain authentic Fender craftsmanship, and installation hardware is included for easy setup.
