The Gibson J-45 50s Original in Vintage Sunburst offers a playing experience reminiscent of the golden age of Gibson acoustics. This round shoulder dreadnought features a solid Sitka spruce top, known for its balanced tone and projection, paired with select mahogany back and sides for warmth and richness.  The traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing further enhances the guitar's resonance and responsiveness. The vintage-inspired aesthetic is evident in the subtly antiqued multi-ply top and single-ply back binding, giving the instrument the appearance of a well-loved classic.  Other period-correct appointments include cream button tuners, a 50s-era tortoise pickguard, and a rounded neck profile for comfortable playability.  The rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays adds a touch of elegance.  For amplified performance, the J-45 50s Original comes equipped with an LR Baggs VTC pickup, providing a natural and accurate representation of the guitar's acoustic tone.  The guitar has a 24.75-inch scale length, a 12-inch fingerboard radius, and a 1.724-inch bone nut.  It features 20 standard frets, a traditional belly-up bridge with a bone saddle, and Tusq bridge pins.  The nickel finish hardware includes Grover Strap Cream Button tuning machines.
