Vincent Van Trigt is known across the globe as one of Fenders highly revered Masterbuilders, a select group of the worlds most esteemed luthiers. With this Godly status, any guitar with his name attached generates a huge amount of interest, and rightly so. The Fender Custom Shop Vincent Van Trigt Masterbuilt '’50s Strat is a great example of the legendary prowess of the Masterbuilders.
The sort for lightweight Ash body is finished in a really authentically aged Black over Violin Burst. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further, it also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively. The wear patterns are incredible, so genuine and authentic, Vincent is considered one of the Kings of relic work at the Custom Shop and its definitely on display here!
The 3A Birdseye Maple neck is real comfortable. With a Large "C" profile, 12" radius and 21 jumbo frets its super resonant and feels incredible underhand.
With a trio of Josefina handwound Fender ‘50s Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. These pickups are incredibly rich sounding and the fact this beautiful example of a Fender Custom Shop is loaded with them is a real treat.
