Fender Custom Shop '63 Tele Left Handed Sonic Blue Dale Wilson

Dale Wilson is known across the globe as one of Fenders highly revered Masterbuilders, a select group of the worlds most esteemed luthiers. With this Godly status, any guitar with his name attached generates a huge amount of interest, and rightly so.

The Fender Custom Shop Dale Wilson Masterbuilt '63 Telecaster is a great example of the legendary prowess of the Masterbuilders.

The select Alder body is finished in a really authentically Sonic Blue finish. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further, it also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively. The wear patterns are incredible, so genuine and authentic, Dale Wilson is considered the King of relic work at the Custom Shop and its definitely on display here!

The guitars Maple neck is really comfortable. With a '59 Esquire C, 9.5" radius and 21 6105 frets its super resonant and feels incredible underhand.

With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop '63 Telecaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a Hand wound Twisted Tele in the neck and a hand wound Red Hot Tele in the bridge it boasts a versatile and well balanced selection.
