The Fender Custom Shop '61 Strat Relic in Aged Vintage White is a timeless take on a golden-era Strat, blending vintage-correct detail with Custom Shop craftsmanship. Finished in a beautifully aged Vintage White lacquer, this two-piece alder-bodied Strat wears its relic work with pride - subtle checking, tasteful wear and a whole lot of vibe.
Under the hood, it’s loaded with a full set of handwound Fat '60s pickups by Josefina Campos, Fender's Master Pickup Winder. Expect bold lows, scooped mids and glassy highs - the kind of tone that made the Strat a legend. A 5-way switch and 250K 10% taper split pots give you smooth control and tonal flexibility.
The neck is a dream to play - quartersawn maple, carved to a 60 Style Oval "C" profile (.830"), and topped with a AAA 9 mm rosewood fretboard, hand-selected for darkness and beauty. Jumbo 6100 frets, a 9.5" radius, and wide-spaced micarta dots make it feel fast, expressive and familiar.
It ships with 10-46 strings, but we'll happily set it up with your preferred gauge at no extra cost during our full pre-shipping setup. This one's got the look, the feel and the tone - ready to inspire from the first play.
