The Fender Custom Shop Dale Wilson Masterbuilt '60s Strat Relic is a great example of the legendary prowess of the Masterbuilders.
An Alder body is finished in a unique Surf Green over Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively. To enhance the look even further, we have the addition of a super faded torty guard.Dale is the King of relic work at the custom shop and this certainly doesn't disappoint though!
The rift sawn Maple neck has a smooth finish. With an AAA Rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" radius and 21 x 6100 frets, the '60s Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The 59' Esquire "C" profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing.
With a trio of hand wound Fender Custom Shop 60/63 pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. With a crisp harmonic content and a really refined and precise tone.
Supreme quality from top to bottom and shipped in a Fender Custom Shop hardcase, it's easy to see the Fender Masterbuilders are so highly regarded. Guitars of this calibre just don't come around every day, we love it and we're pretty sure you will to!
