A faithful recreation of a 1960 Esquire, this guitar captures the essence of Fender’s early ‘60s era with a 2-piece alder body finished in a striking Taos Turquoise nitrocellulose lacquer—a rich, Southwestern-inspired hue that’s complemented by a matching peg head for a cohesive, eye-catching aesthetic. The NOS finish gives it a factory-fresh appearance straight from the Custom Shop, highlighting its bold color and clean lines. The gorgeous flame AAA maple neck, carved to a ‘60 “Oval C” profile (.790" at 1st fret, .930" at 12th), is paired with a rosewood fingerboard featuring a 9.5" radius, 21 Medium Jumbo Frets (6150), and vintage clay dot inlays, offering a 25.5" scale length for an authentic ‘60s playing experience. The guitar features a really nice satin feel to the back of the neck, for a smooth playing experience. The Satin finish continues on the matching headstock. This looks so retro and is a real time-capsule of a guitar.

This ‘60 Esquire is equipped with a single hand-wound 50-51 Blackguard pickup in the bridge position, delivering the quintessential Tele-style tone—bright, twangy, and punchy—with a warm, vintage character that defined the era. Wired with a 3-way switch, master volume, and tone control, it offers versatile tonal options for everything from country snap to gritty rock leads. The vintage-style 3-saddle Tele bridge with "Gatton" saddles ensures solid intonation and sustain, while vintage-style tuning keys in nickel/chrome finish add period-correct aesthetics.
