The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '60 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The sort for lightweight Alder body is finished in a Journeyman Relic Black nitro lacquer, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The rift sawn Maple neck has a smooth nitro finish. With a sort-for-dark slab rosewood fingerboard, 12" radius and 21 Jumbo frets, the '60 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '60 Style Oval "C" neck shape. Measuring .790" at the 1st fret and .930" at the 12th, it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. With the addition of a contoured neck heel, reaching those top frets is never an issue now.
With a duo of handwound 60/63 Strat single-coil pickups and a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates, it delivers anything from fluid Strat leads to classic PAF rock tones - it's extremely versatile! It also features a tone saver treble bleed circuit, POMO wiring, and an S-1 switch for splitting the humbucker.
With Modern Locking tuners and an American Vintage tremolo, you get classic playing vibes with enhanced modern stability. Yet another absolute stunner from the guys at the Fender Custom Shop!
