The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever made, and this Fender Custom Shop '57 Strat is a superb addition to that legendary legacy.
The alder body is finished in a stunning Heavy Aged Olympic White nitrocellulose lacquer - it’s an absolute beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will continue to wear naturally over time, developing even more of its own unique character as you play it. The thin nitro finish lets the wood breathe, allowing the guitar's natural acoustic resonance and sustain to shine through. The Heavy Relic treatment is exceptional, showing meticulous attention to detail and an ultra-authentic aged look.
Built for comfort, the rift-sawn maple neck features a super smooth feel, a 9.5" radius, 21 Narrow Tall frets, and a 1.650" nut width. Fitted with a comfortable '60s Style Oval "C" profile, it’s a joy to play, providing an ideal platform whether you're laying down rhythm tracks or digging into awesome solos. This '57 Strat handles whatever you throw at it, feeling balanced and natural in the hands. Equipped with a vintage tremolo bridge alongside modern locking tuners, you get period correct aesthetics combined with rock-solid tuning stability.
A guitar this special deserves a truly versatile pickup set. Loaded with Post-Modern (POMO) Strat HSS controls, it pairs a mean Seymour Duncan Trembucker in the bridge with a pair of Hand-Wound '57 Strat pickups in the middle and neck positions. These pickups offer incredible dynamic range to cover almost any genre. Also equipped with an S-1 switch which allows for seamless coil-splitting on the bridge humbucker, opening up a massive range of tones.
Supplied in its official Fender Custom Shop hard case, this is a killer example of Custom Shop craftsmanship.
