Here at Peach Guitars, we're obsessed with vintage Fender guitars from the 1950s and 1960s. Those guitars have a real magic to them and were responsible for some of the most iconic and influential music ever recorded. The Fender Custom Shop team work tirelessly to recreate the magic of these original instruments for today's players, and they really do an incredible job!
This 1957 spec Stratocaster is a premium model heavily inspired by what many consider to be the Golden Era of Fender! It features a period correct Alder body finished in 2-Tone Sunburst - an ever-popular colour that stays true to Fender heritage! The Heavy Relic finish mimics the appearance of a guitar born in '57 that has been gigged and past around, played every day of its life - this level of ageing not only looks extremely authentic but gives the guitar bags of character. A seriously cool looking axe!
The neck is a high-grade, medium tint Rift Sawn Maple which is in keeping with the '50s aesthetic, along with the simple but eye-catching single-ply white pickguard. It features a 60s Style Oval C neck shape, which is super comfortable and one of the most popular options amongst players. It measures .790 at the 1st fret, and .930 at the 12th fret. It features 21 Narrow Tall frets, Micarta Black dot inlays, a 9.5" radius, and a 1.650" nut width.
It is loaded with an HSS pickup configuration, which is super versatile and fun to play through. A Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge will open you up to plethora of classic rock tones and chunky blues, whilst a pair of Hand Wound Fat 60s single coils in both neck and middle positions deliver your iconic Strat tones, glassy and biting lead tones with sweet articulation.
A truly awesome guitar from the master craftspeople at the Custom Shop, this is a vintage-inspired rock machine!
