The Duesenberg Starplayer CBR is a premium semi-hollow electric guitar designed for players who demand tonal versatility, outstanding craftsmanship, and lasting reliability. Constructed with a chambered mahogany body, a flat flamed maple top, and a one-piece maple neck, the Starplayer CBR delivers a warm, rich tone with clear articulation and dynamic response. This construction also helps reduce weight while enhancing resonance, making it a comfortable and responsive instrument for extended playing sessions.

Equipped with a GrandVintage humbucker in the bridge position and a Domino P90 in the neck, the Starplayer CBR offers a wide tonal palette suitable for a variety of genres. The humbucker provides bright, articulate tones with plenty of punch, while the P90 delivers smooth, warm sounds with a touch of grit. A custom-wired middle position further expands tonal options by filtering low-end frequencies from the humbucker, resulting in a funkier, more open sound that complements clean and overdriven tones alike.

The guitar features Duesenberg's innovative Flextone+ wiring, which allows for five distinct pickup configurations, including two additional in-between settings. This makes the Starplayer CBR a flexible tool for live performance and studio work, offering quick access to a range of tones with minimal adjustment. Additionally, the newly designed Diamond Prestige Tremola features a flat-arm design for precise pitch modulation and stable tuning, engineered for smooth operation without compromising the instrument's tuning stability.

Playability is a standout feature thanks to the PLEK-processed fretboard. This high-precision treatment ensures level frets for consistent, buzz-free playability across the neck. After the PLEK process, each guitar is hand-finished and set up by Duesenberg's skilled luthiers, providing a professional-grade feel straight out of the case. This level of attention ensures that every Starplayer CBR delivers a smooth and reliable playing experience.
