The I-35 LC features a proprietary Laminated Construction Maple body with a Maple/Spruce centre block, stunningly finished in a classic Tobacco Sunburst. Collings specially selects and combines woods of varying densities for their laminate models, ensuring a rich tone, precise response, and that unmistakable premium Collings tone. Paired with a Kluson ABR-1 bridge and Gotoh tuners, it offers accurate intonation, reliable tuning stability and a super smooth playing action.

The Honduran Mahogany neck is paired with a Rosewood fingerboard, featuring a comfortable 24 7/8" scale length and a 12" radius that feels natural and precise in the hand.

Equipped with a pair of Lollar Low Wind Imperial Humbuckers, it delivers a broad spectrum of expressive tones, '50s PAF-style but designed to have a slightly darker overall sound. The Low Wind Imperials provide more high-end and punchier lows, which work perfectly in the semi-hollow body.
