Part of Yamaha's L Series, the LJ26 is a Japanese-made high-grade acoustic guitar that blends superior craftmanship with attention to detail. These guitars have been praised for their quality, featuring all-solid woods, and excellent construction, resulting in a guitar that sounds truly incredible.
The LJ26 has also been through A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement), a wood reforming innovation developed by Yamaha. Through factors like temperature control, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, properties of the wood can be manipulated, transforming the wood to have the same tone and aging of a guitar that's been played for years.
The LJ26 provides a Grand Auditorium-style body which feels natural and light. When playing the LJ26 it has a gorgeous low end that fills the room, but also reacts to styles like fingerpicking brilliantly. Chords ring out with plenty of sustain and the overtones from a single picked note ring out, leaving a beautiful reverb effect.
Although the LJ26 has a big low-end it also must be recognised how balanced this guitar is. Whether you’re strumming or fingerpicking this guitar projects a gorgeous rich, open and crisp tone.
The LJ26 features a solid Engelmann spruce top complimented with solid Indian rosewood back & sides. The neck is a 5-ply mahogany and rosewood construction; finished in satin, this neck is super comfortable to play, and perfect for longer playing sessions without getting fatigued. To top this off we have a lovely piece of ebony for the fingerboard. Finished with real Mother of Pearl inlays and gotoh open-back machine heads that blend vintage aesthetics with modern engineering.
This pre-owned LJ26 is in excellent condition, with there being only a handful of light scratch marks on the back of the body from playing over the years. Speaking of which, the previous owner clearly took great care of this instrument and looked after it. It still has the protective film over the scratch plate! To keep it safe it also comes complete with a hard gig bag. The advantages of this type of case is that it will protect your instrument from any potential damage but also remains lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, ensuring your guitar is always protected.
When buying a pre-owned guitar online it can come with risks - however, here at Peach Guitars we make sure every instrument is carefully inspected and professionally setup by our guitar techs before leaving us. This takes the risk out of the purchase for you, so when you receive your instrument, you can get straight to playing and enjoying it. We also provide fully tracked shipping, so you know exactly where your instrument is, and our after-sales customer service team is always on hand to help answer any questions or offer advice.
