Yamaha LLX36C *Used*

Part of Yamaha's L Series, the LL36C is a Japanese-made premium acoustic guitar blending quality craftmanship with attention to detail. These guitars are highly regarded for their quality, featuring all-solid woods, and excellent construction, resulting in a guitar that brings lots of pleasure to the player.

The LL36C has also been through A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement), a wood reforming technology developed by Yamaha. Through temperature control, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, properties of the wood can be changed, transforming the wood to have the same characteristics of a guitar played for years. 

This guitar provides a shape similar to the dreadnought; despite its size it is very comfortable and projects brilliantly. The addition of a cutaway is perfect for those who like easy access to the higher register, or simply prefer the more modern look of having a cutaway. The LL36C offers huge low end but also responds to styles like fingerpicking beautifully; every note rings out with sustain and when strumming chords, sounding perfectly balanced. The LL36C also has a System60 Art preamp and pickup which sounds very natural when amplified and really captures that lovely low end.

The LL36C pairs a solid Engelmann spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides, real Mother of Pearl inlays and a stunning top binding and rosette of abalone. It also features a 5-ply V-profile laminate neck for strength and comfort, topped off with a lovely piece of ebony for the fingerboard. This neck profile is ideal for longer playing sessions and for chording without fatigue.

This guitar has a nitrocellulose finish which is known for its breathing properties by letting the wood vibrate freely. Over time this particular LL36C has inherited some gorgeous checking marks which gives it an awesome retro look, perfect for someone who loves a guitar with genuine wear and tear and that will continue to age more over time. Speaking of which, the previous owner clearly loved this guitar as there are plenty of signs of previous use, making this guitar an authentic player's piece. To keep it safe, it also comes complete with a Yamaha hardcase.
