The Yamaha A3M ARE is a professional-grade electro-acoustic guitar designed to deliver both outstanding tone and reliable performance. Its solid Sitka spruce top features scalloped bracing and Yamaha's exclusive Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.) treatment, giving the instrument a mature, well-balanced sound from day one. The scalloped bracing increases projection and enhances low-mid response, while the A.R.E. process replicates the tonal qualities of a seasoned guitar, offering players a rich, vintage-like character without the need for years of playing. Combined with solid mahogany back and sides, the A3M ARE produces a warm, full-bodied tone that suits a wide range of musical styles.
Built for playability, the A3M ARE uses a 3-ply African mahogany neck with a matte finish, providing both strength and comfort for long playing sessions. Its ebony fingerboard, with a 400 mm (15 3/4") radius and hand-rolled edges, ensures smooth transitions across the frets, while the straighter neck taper allows for easier access to higher frets. The premium hardware, including an ebony bridge, die-cast chrome tuners, and a tortoise-pattern pickguard, ensures tuning stability and long-lasting durability.
Equipped with Yamaha's advanced SRT2 pickup system, the A3M ARE offers excellent versatility for both live and studio use. Each string has an individual pickup element, delivering a clear, dynamic signal with natural articulation that outperforms standard piezo designs. Players can blend between a direct piezo tone and high-quality microphone simulations to achieve their ideal sound, with two mic options available for added flexibility. This system allows musicians to fine-tune their tone for any setting, from stage performance to recording, making the Yamaha A3M ARE a highly adaptable and dependable instrument for serious players.
